Frequently Asked Questions
What is naturopathy and how does it work?
Naturopathy is a holistic approach to health that supports your body’s natural healing processes using nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle changes, and evidence-based methods. It addresses the root cause of symptoms rather than just masking them.
What conditions can a naturopath help with?
We support a wide range of concerns including digestive issues, hormonal imbalance, fatigue, sleep difficulties, stress, immune dysfunction, fertility support, and chronic conditions like autoimmune disorders.
Do I need a referral to see the naturopath?
No referral is needed. You can book directly for your initial consultation—just like you would with a physio or massage appointment.
What happens in the first consultation?
Your naturopath will take a detailed health history, assess your lifestyle, nutrition, and symptoms, and may recommend testing. You’ll leave with a personalised wellness plan including dietary suggestions, natural remedies, and follow-up options.
Is naturopathy covered by Medicare, health funds, or NDIS?
While Medicare does not typically cover naturopathy, some private health funds may offer rebates (depending on your level of cover). If you’re an NDIS participant, we can support your plan goals as part of your allied health team.
